Ottawa, Canada, February 14th 2020 - Home to the Blackhawks (NHL) and the Bulls (NBA), the United Center in Chicago became a Ross customer in October of last year, installing a Ross Unified Venue Control System to drive all of the LED displays both inside and outside the venue. One of the standout features of the arena is the center hung display that totals over 50 million pixels. In addition, the arena features a number of concourse, atrium and external displays that bring the overall pixel count to well over 100 million!

This past weekend, one of basketball's marquee annual events took place at the United Center in Chicago as the league's star names showcased their talents during a skills event and exhibition game. Creative and technical personnel from Ross Video were on hand throughout the event to support the UCTV crew, making sure fans in the arena enjoyed an unforgettable experience watching the league's best and most popular players compete. Kevin Cottam, Director of Sports & Live Events at Ross, was delighted that Ross was involved in yet another prestigious and high-profile sporting event. The Ross Unified Venue Control System helps simplify the management of a live sports production; custom touchscreen control panels can be used to trigger many different macros and events, and the system is completely customizable for any venue size. The United Center has been using the Ross solution since last fall to great effect, and fans who visited Chicago this past weekend for basketball's showcase event got a first-hand taste of how Ross can provide a thrilling game day experience to remember!
