RE:Vision Effects, visual effects and video processing industry leader, has released Twixtor as a standalone product. Now available for everyone on Mac and Windows computers, Twixtor makes it easy to convert the frame rate, add slow-mo or speed-up your videos. Simply drag and drop your video, select the in and out points, select the speed and output frame rate and hit render.

Twixtor standalone uses the same state-of-the-art video frame interpolation technology as the popular industry-standard Twixtor plug-ins. It automagically calculates the resulting number of frames needed. The standalone includes our precise machine-learning algorithm for producing smooth and realistic in-between frames. Twixtor v8 plug-ins users are already raving about how it's more precise than anything else on the market. Try it and see for yourself!

Twixtor can make your videos of first steps, cooking demonstrations, real estate, dance shows, weddings, sports triumphs (and epic fails!) look more special by easily adding slow-mo or speed ups. Your camera only shoots 24P at its highest resolution but no problem Twixtor will create the in-between frames so now you have a 60P camera. Twixtor has a Speed Graph Editor allowing you to slow-mo just a section with a smooth ease in and out of it. And it timewarps audio as well, maintaining pitch to avoid the usually undesirable chipmunk effect.

Twixtor fully utilizes your GPU when available and has no resolution or video duration limit. It also allows you to select the rendered video bitrate as needed. Get fancy and adjust a clip with key frames to emphasize emotions or highlight a special moment. Great fun for all ages, from the tinkerer to the pro!
