Cixi is forging ahead to stabilize its export in order to cope with the stern situation, according to the intention of the central government to advance a steady growth in export. Starting from July 1st, a special column named Boost Confidence, Secure Growth and Confront the Tough Export Battle will be set aside by the Investment Promotion Bureau of Cixi. Revolving around the theme of solving problems in export and unleashing the potential, it will cover some typical events and cases with a view to strengthening confidence, improving the service, extending the market and forestalling dangers, thus finally stabilizing the city's export with no efforts spared.
Victory of the tough fight entails unflinching determination and undaunted audacity. Currently, with a down-to-earth attitude, Cixi channeled another 15 million yuan as a special fund to support export, especially to lift restrictions and give a free rein to its development. Removing completely the obstructions, Cixi hopes to create a better environment for its service.
It's reported that the special fund will be allocated to four types of foreign trade firms including those seeking to expand export, to return to the domestic market and solicit investment, to improve their export credit insurance, and to purchase imports in the CEEC Expo.
According to relevant policy, enterprises that achieved over 10 million dollars in export and secured an increase year-on-year in 2016 will receive 30,000 yuan for each billion dollar's growth in their export and for those achieving an over 5% year-on-year increase in export, it will be 50,000 yuan. However, those new eligible companies in 2016 that made no genuine progress in 2015 have to accept a reward halved.
While stimulating enterprises to go out , Cixi also encourage them to bring in . According to the policy, the returning local export companies in 2016 will receive 30,000 yuan for each billion dollar's growth. And the same reward will also be given to qualified circulation trade enterprises (comprehensive trade platforms) that settled in Cixi via the investment promotion activity in 2016 and managed the export of non-local products.
Meanwhile, this year Cixi will also further subsidizing the premium of export credit insurance, paying 10% of it in addition to fiscal subsidies for companies that achieved over 10 million dollars in export and secured an increase year-on-year in 2016. And for those achieving an over 5% year-on-year increase in export, it will be 20%.
Policies serve as a guide as well as a stimulus. To acquaint the foreign trade firms of the trade policies, the Investment Promotion Bureau of Cixi compiled a book containing the latest trade policies, and distributed its copies to over 2000 local export companies. Moreover, it also held multiple information sessions to fully apprise them of the new trade policies, thus benefiting more foreign trade firms by allowing full play to the positive effect of policies.
