Today we are announcing some great improvements for our community of Storytellers that come with our latest update to WeVideo. We have been seeing a significant growth of creators on the WeVideo Platform, consisting of educational, personal and business users. Just last month, we had more than 350,000 active storytellers using our platform. We are not just a tool anymore, WE are a Storytelling movement.
Center for Digital Storytelling Partnership and Webinar
Last month we shared the news that WeVideo has partnered with StoryCenter, a world leader in Digital Storytelling facilitation. This is one of the steps that weve taken as part of our mission to provide new storytellers with the resources they need to create and share their stories.
As a continuation of this, today we are happy to announce StoryCenter's first online course on Digital Storytelling powered by WeVideo.
In this 6 week course you will craft and record a first-person narrative and collect images, video, and music to illustrate your digital story. You will be guided through group writing and sharing sessions and WeVideo tutorials that will enable you, with facilitator support, to edit your own story.

Multiple selection and Auto Ken Burns One of the most requested features that you have asking for is multi-select. This feature is a great time-saver when building stories, because you can easily select a section of your media library and simply drag the clips to the timeline/storyboard all at once. As a bonus, you can also decide to add the Ken Burns effect to photos when added with the multi-select tool. List view and media management We heard your feedback and one of the other features we have improved in this release is media management straight from the editor. We have added a list view that will help you sort through your media with ease. Now, you can easily sort and order your media. You can also erase media straight from the editor by dragging the selected clips to the preview window.
Exports page in Hub To simplify access to your final videos, weve created a new page in WeVideo Hub called Exports. This is the place where youll find and manage all of your exported (published) videos.
Support for new media formats We are constantly adding support for new media formats. Now WeVideo is supporting the new high-quality, open image and video formats webm and webp.
Performance and stability improvements An updated and simplified timeline UI will greatly help with your editing. We've also fixed several minor issues that will improve the performance and make your experience even smoother. The cloud infrastructure has also been enhanced to improve robustness and availability as we continue to grow our userbase.
