X-Rite Pantone Launches eXact 2 Basic Spectrophotometer Ahead of LOUPE Americas and PRINTING United Expo 2026

X-Rite Pantone, the global authority in color standards and color science, announces eXact 2 Basic, the newest addition to the eXact 2 family of portable spectrophotometers. Available now, the new device will be showcased at LOUPE Americas 2026 and PRINTING United Expo 2026 alongside digital workflow solutions designed to help commercial printers and converters improve efficiency, reduce waste, and deliver consistent color.

The eXact 2 Basic is an easy-to-use spectrophotometer designed for commercial print production, combining density and L*a*b* color measurement in a standalone handheld device. It helps press operators move beyond visual inspection and density-only workflows with fast, objective color verification that supports more accurate production decisions without adding complexity to daily press operations.

At the upcoming events, X-Rite Pantone will demonstrate how the eXact 2 family fits into an integrated color workflow spanning digital color standards, ink formulation, press-side measurement, quality management, and production reporting work together in an integrated workflow.
