Not Art? ink Again! Submit Your Work at the Prix...

The well-established Prix Ars Electronica is one of the most important electronic art festivals worldwide. Individual works and projects for the categories Computer Animation/Film/VFX, Interactive Art + and Digital Communities can still be submitted through March 13, 2016. Submissions for the category Animation/VFX/Film cannot be older than two years. Submissions are free and can only be made online.

In addition to the Golden Nicas', winners will be awarded cash prizes up to 10,000, depending on the category, and their work will be presented throughout the Ars Electronica Festival, which runs from September 8 - 12, 2016, in Linz, Austria.

Outside of the field of CG itself, Computer-generated imagery, interactive electronic installations, digital projects and communities are mostly evaluated based on economic aspects - but the fact that these projects can be the genesis of culturally valuable assets is what the internationally renowned Ars Electronica has demonstrated for almost three decades.
