PlayBox showcases streaming and channel management with individual discussions at IBC2022

PlayBox Technology UK, the leading channel in a box and streaming solution provider for media companies worldwide, is returning to IBC2022 (Amsterdam RAI, 9 - 12 September) with a broad range of playout, streaming and content management solutions. To allow it to focus on detailed discussions with users from around the world, its presence is through individual meetings in the IABM Lounge, stand 8.F54.
In the three years since we were last at IBC, the PlayBox offering has been transformed, as has the industry, said Philip Neighbour, COO at PlayBox Technology. We still offer the traditional, channel-in-a-box integrated playout of course, but now we offer complete turnkey systems from CMS, OTT and streaming to delivery, including hosting. We see IBC as a great opportunity to talk through ideas with potential users from around the world, and we want to ensure that our guests have the time they need to discuss the possibilities.
A pioneer in virtualised software for modular functionality and cloud-ready deployment, PlayBox continues to innovate. Its playout range continues to grow to meet the needs of modern media companies, including the AirBox Mega ICX, a single, hybrid or web-based application for playout, live insertion, scheduling, content ingest and HTML5 graphics. Cosmos provides software-based playout engines for broadcasters, service companies and OTT providers.
Multi-channel OTT services can use PlayBox Technology's content management system (CMS), available as a perpetual license or SaaS. It supports all the functionality required for a practical service, from white-label apps and clients to payment gateways and advertising management through Google AdSense and many other vendors.
PlayBox will also be showing its latest technology developments, including Eurisco, a live streaming media cloud server supporting multiple delivery platforms at qualities up to gigabit streams. It is ideal for the instant deployment of IPTV and digital broadcasting services.
