OCHRE MOVING PICTURES AND NETFLIX Premiering on Netflix Africa this Friday, 19 January, the six-part crime drama promises a gripping narrative of redemption, liberation, and deceit. The show will be set against the turbulent backdrop of 1990s South Africa.

The series features a star-studded cast, led by the charismatic Kwenzo Ngcobo as liberation hero turned heist king, Alex Shabane.

It intertwines their fates in a gritty crime drama that challenges the boundaries between morality and malevolence.

Inspired by actual events and notorious heist legends, the series follows Shabane's return to South Africa, where he resorts to a life of crime when the promised spoils of war' fail to materialize.
