On Tuesday, the Vegas Golden Knights launched a new team app. Within that app, fans can access tickets, get ride-sharing and parking instructions, and also watch the club's new direct-to-consumer streaming service, KnightTime+.

This upcoming NHL season will feature the debut of a number of new live game viewing options of in-market viewers. Whether it's the new Kraken Hockey Network or the Dallas Stars' Victory+ (just to name a pair), the in-market sports broadcasting landscape is wildly changing as the regional sports network industry struggles.

This is a growing trend across not just the NHL but also the NBA and MLB. RSNs, leagues, and teams are increasingly launching DTC streaming platforms to reach fans directly. Meanwhile, more and more content is making its way onto FAST channels and other digital platforms.
