During field testing, LiveU's LU600 HEVC solution delivered the highest video quality and reliability at a low bit-rate transmission

Taiwan's leading national broadcaster TVBS Media Inc. has selected LiveU's flagship LU600 HEVC solution for live newsgathering and sports coverage, deploying multiple LU600 HEVC units around the country to cover breaking and developing news and different kinds of sports events. TVBS has already used LiveU to cover the Tour de Taiwan cycling tournament and New Taipei city Wan Jin Shi Marathon, with camera operators streaming live from the back of a motorbike. Service and support is being provided by LiveU's local partner, Ntype.

TVBS tested leading cellular transmission brands for quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness and LiveU led in every category. Specifically, the LU600 HEVC solution showed greater stability and reliability and the best video quality in low bit-rate transmission conditions. TVBS found that LiveU's backpack has a good design and is very functional, for example, it has the longest battery life of 4 hours and is the only one with a rain cover. LiveU Central, LiveUs unified management platform, also proved to be more intuitive and easier-to-use.
