TheLight illuminates the set for the media at the headquarters of NATO in Brussels Thelight ha sido elegida como nico proveedor para iluminar la Sala Principal de Conferencias desde la que se lleva a cabo el posado para televisiones y fot grafos de todo el mundo.
The main hall where the NATO defence ministers pose for television and photographers from all the world in the traditional "family portrait" has lit exclusively using LED technology for Thelight.
El departamento t cnico necesitaba reemplazar la vieja serie de unidades de HMI de 2500W que cuelga del techo para iluminar desde una distancia de 8 metros el podium de 9 x 4 metros donde los ministros y oficiales de la OTAN posan para las televisiones y prensa internacional.
Un alto ndice de reproducci n del color, as como una luz suave y que no molestase eran los requisitos esenciales, mientras que el objetivo era una reducci n en el coste de operaci n y una simplificaci n del mantenimiento.
El proyecto requer a la simplificaci n de la instalaci n sin ballast ni fuentes de alimentaci n separadas, el encendido instant neo y regulaci n por DMX, as como la reducci n del mantenimiento por sustituci n de l mparas y gelatinas y del consumo el ctrico. Adem s, se pretend a reducir las molestas sombras logrando un nivel de iluminaci n de 600 lux desde una distancia de 8 metros. La OTAN fue tambi n exigente para conseguir un alto CRI que lograra tonos de piel perfectos utilizando tanto c maras HD como de fotos.
Para la instalaci n, Thelight apost por su soluci n 4Long Studio, suministrando adem s horquillas especiales para montar verticalmente y permitir su inclinaci n y ajuste del haz de luz a la zona requerida.
Para conseguir una luz uniforme y sin sombras que no moleste, Thelight ha montado 3 grupos separados de 2 unidades 4Long Studio con softbox y difusor Hilite en cada luminaria.
Las luminarias HMI requieren de un mantenimiento regular para reemplazar l mparas y gelatinas, a su vez, el largo tiempo que requiere su encendido provocaba problemas en la apretada agenda de los ministros de la OTAN.
La compacidad de las luminarias 4Long Studio que incluyen la fuente de alimentaci n y la Unidad de Control en la propia luminaria, han hecho la instalaci n en el techo de la sala extremadamente sencilla, sin necesidad de ballast externos o racks de dimmers.
Una vez instaladas las luces, pueden ser encendidas instant neamente y ajustada su intensidad, temperatura de color o su correcci n de verde/magenta.
Los paneles de LEDs de alta potencia de Thelight no requieren mantenimiento y trabajan en total silencio, sin ventiladores ni cambios de l mparas o gelatinas. Por ltimo, destacar que estos paneles consumen ocho veces menos que los antiguos HMI reduciendo dr sticamente el consumo de energ a el ctrica. El consumo total es ahora de solo 900 wts y libre de horas de mantenimiento de personal y del coste del material fungible.
