While the 2021 NAB Show has been moved to October, the spring season will still feature a cavalcade of new product releases and groundbreaking news coming out of the broadcast technology sector. In an effort to keep the video-production community informed, SVG is hosting a series of SportsTech On Demand video interviews throughout April, May, and June with executives from the industry's top technology vendors.

Ever since AT&T completed its acquisition of Time Warner (now WarnerMedia) in 2018, the industry has been filled with excitement over what the meeting of these two heavyweights could mean for the sports-video-production industry. The deal brought together AT&T's technological prowess and massive infrastructure with WarnerMedia's creative capacity and production innovation to create what many expect to be a new way of consuming sports for fans. In this interview, WarnerMedia VP of Emerging Media and Innovation Pete Scott and AT&T Director of Product Management Team Scott Beckett discuss how they're respective teams are working together to redefine the sports-viewing experience - from 5G to WebRTC to expanding the connectivity at sports venues for REMI productions.
