New Quality Engineering Facility in Bengaluru, India

Eurofins has a significant presence in India, with testing facilities for agricultural science, bio pharma, environment, food and feed testing, and consumer products. Eurofins Digital Testing India, (EDT India) extends the company's capabilities into the increasingly significant sector of digital device testing. The move also demonstrates the confidence of Eurofins in both the Indian marketplace and the technical expertise available in Bengaluru.

The formation of the new company will help facilitate expansion: a systems-focused division will expand testing services to cater to the needs of testing Set Top Boxes, Mobile devices and Telecom functions. In addition to this, a new cyber security team is being set up to address vulnerability testing and SOC needs for various client engagements around the world, and support cyber security testing in other Eurofins Digital Testing business units. An extensive campaign of recruitment is already underway to capitalise on the talent available in the Bengaluru area.

Sumitha Arun, Senior Director at Eurofins Digital Testing India was keen to point out that EDT India has the scope not only to support Eurofins operations in other countries but also tap into the potential locally and nationally in India. Working with local consultants, the team are already building relationships with Governmental and commercial operations in the subcontinent, including stakeholders from Broadcasting and TV manufacturing companies.

Eurofins Digital Testing India has built a strong base ahead of becoming a stand-alone organisation and is well connected with colleagues in EDT's other facilities. It will provide a major contribution to the company and help it achieve its aim of becoming the premier quality engineering partner for organisations around the world.
