Big Blue Marble has announced the addition of live multiview channels to its Cloud Video Kit video processing platform, built on AWS Elemental Dynamic Multiview from Amazon Web Services.
AWS Elemental Dynamic Multiview, a capability of AWS Elemental MediaPackage, combines multiple live sources - including additional camera angles, concurrent games, or mixed channels - into a single HLS/DASH stream with a custom layout assembled on demand at the point of delivery. Layouts are not pre-rendered, so cost scales with the number of encoded source streams rather than the number of layout combinations. The stream is protected by a single DRM key regardless of frame arrangement and is accessible on any device without custom SDKs.
The multiview feature integrates into Cloud Video Kit's existing infrastructure alongside the platform's encoding, packaging, distribution, DRM, forensic watermarking, and fraud detection capabilities.

We believe that with this new AWS Elemental feature, Cloud Video Kit can give broadcasters and content owners a new way to engage viewers without adding complexity to their streaming workflows.
