MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM announced the first set of semi-finalists for the 2017 Christmas Choir Competition on Monday, November 27, 2017. Listeners can vote throughout the the day for the first three Division I semi-finalists, which includes grades K-8. More semi-finalists will be unveiled throughout the week, with the three finalists competing on Thursday, and the winner announced on Friday. Next week, the same will take place for Division II, high school entries.
Choirs can win a $5,000, $2,000 or $1,000 cash prize for their schools . . . PLUS, the recognition of having their submission played on MIX 101.5 during the holiday season with the top two choirs featured at a special Christmas Choir Concert.
The Top 2 choirs in each division will be invited to perform at Crabtree Valley Mall on:
