Chyron Hires Andre Fischer as Director of Sales for Central Europe and Nordics

Chyron today announced the appointment of Andr Fischer as the companys director of sales for Central Europe/Nordics. Fischer joins Chyron with decades of experience across the broadcast industry. In this new role, he will drive business development and growth initiatives, working with the Europe- and U.S.-based teams to increase reach and awareness of Chyron products, solutions, and services while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Andr knows broadcast inside and out, from glass to glass, so he has hit the ground running in bringing Chyron customers the tools and services they need to support dynamic live broadcasts and agile production workflows, said Olivier Cohen, senior vice president of EMEA sales at Chyron. His ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, resellers, and system integrators is remarkable, and his understanding of forward-looking production workflows will be valuable as we educate the market about the powerful capabilities of Chyron products, including the new PRIME Live Platform.

Prior to joining Chyron, Fischer led sales teams for companies including Dimetis, HPE, Grass Valley, DAVID Systems, and others. He entered the media technology industry after studying economics and computer science, and over the past 30 years, he has helped broadcasters and other organizations to leverage advanced technologies to move their business forward.

Innovative products and technologies from across the ChyronHego family are shaping the future of live broadcast and production, so its an exciting time to be joining the company, said Fischer. While Chyron has an unparalleled heritage in broadcast graphics, the company has also embraced software and cloud-based services as powerful enablers of modern broadcast and production operations.
