Verve Records Taps Audionamix for Donna Summer Remix Album

Verve Record's Love to Love You Donna , a remix album of Donna Summer's greatest hits, utilized Audionamix's audio source separation technology to produce several songs on this recent release, which celebrates the beloved Queen of Disco and her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year. Verve's visionary A&R team called upon Audionamix to provide isolated vocals from mixed recordings. Produced by Randall Poster and Dahlia Ambach-Caplin, Love to Love You Donna is now available in stores and on iTunes.

It was exciting to work on these vocal isolations, but it was a tall order, says Audionamix's VP of Production Rick Silva. We've delivered several isolated tracks for Verve in the past, but the source material supplied for this project was especially challenging because of the driving beats and synthesized sounds layered throughout these legendary dance tracks. Fortunately, the timing was right, and we were able to utilize our latest audio source separation technology, which is also featured in ADX TRAX - our professional software due out early next year.

Some of the premier DJs who relied on Audionamix's separated vocal tracks when contributing remixes on Love to Love You Donna include Afrojack and Benga, who delivered remixes for I Feel Love, Jacques Greene for his version of On the Radio, and Krystal Klear, whose remix Our Love is an iTunes bonus track.

Beyond vocal and instrumental separation, Audionamix also provides dialogue isolation, stem separation, music dissociation, and much more.
