With Harmonic's software-based solutions, MMTV has completely modernized its workflow to enable rapid online editing, playout and delivery of news and entertainment content in a broad range of formats. Harmonic's highly flexible and scalable solutions enable the broadcaster to launch additional channels in the future, maximizing bandwidth efficiency and revenue generation.

The broadcaster is using Harmonic's Spectrum X media server for ingest and channel playout; MediaGrid for shared, real-time high-bandwidth storage applications; and Electra X video processing solution for channel encoding and bandwidth optimization.
