Help MIX Feed Hungry Kids with 2013 BackPack Buddies Food Drive
Drop Off Donations Wednesday, Aug 21st at Crabtree or Crossroads
It costs only $35 a month to feed one child, but we have 119,000 kids who need to be fed in the greater Triangle. In the TRIANGLE. What more can I say? We won t stop until every child goes to bed with a full stomach.

One in five North Carolina children are hungry. Children all across the state are going to bed hungry and that's simply not acceptable. Help MIX 101.5 and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle provide wholesome, nutritious meals to students in our community.
MIX 101.5 will hold their annual BackPack Buddies Food Drive on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, from 6am-6pm. The crew will be broadcasting live from Crabtree Valley Mall (in front of Macy's) and Crossroads Plaza (in front of Old Navy) throughout the day.
Donations of foods of funds will be accepted at both sites, or you can donate online.

Think about this .a well fed child stays healthier, a well fed child learns better, a well fed child behaves better, a well fed child becomes an adult who can help care for the world. Look around you and count 5 kids one of those kids doesn't know if they will have food between lunch at school on Friday and breakfast on Monday .YES, HERE in the Triangle! My mom is working but when she gets her check she doesn't have enough money to buy enough food for all of us. I live with my Mom, Dad, and four brothers and sisters There have been times when there wasn't any food or enough food. Then, we ask a lady for some food, and she gives us some. Some nights we don't have food I eat breakfast and lunch at school, and that's it. Most nights we don't eat dinner, or only some people eat because there's not enough for everybody.
