Native Content Expands Directorial Roster with ree New Signings

Commercial production company Native Content today announced a significant expansion of its directorial roster, welcoming new talent Rich Lee, Russ Lamoureux, and sibling duo The Cronenweths. The new signings join Ben Jacks, Tom Dey, and creative collective The Work on Native's carefully curated boutique roster.

It's always been key for us to keep our roster streamlined and to cultivate a balanced mix of experienced and emerging talent, said Native founder Tomer DeVito. The Cronenweths, Rich, and Russ are all so capable in unique ways, and adding them allows us to further diversify our creative offerings while still maintaining that selective and intimate company culture that both our clients and directors value.

Each of the three new director signings brings a distinct visual eye and award-winning pedigree to the Native roster:

Rich Lee has an extensive background within art departments and visual effects, and notably served as the previsualization supervisor on features including the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films and I Am Legend. Since transitioning to directing, he has helmed acclaimed music videos for artists such as Eminem and The Black Eyed Peas, commercials for top brands from Hyundai to Carl's Jr., and he recently made his TV debut with CBS' Limitless.

Russ Lamoureux got his start as a copywriter at some of the world's top ad agencies including Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, TBWAChiat Day, BBDO, and Deutsch; he began directing commercials in 2000 and was quickly named a director to watch by Creativity then featured in the Saatchi New Directors Showcase at Cannes. He has gone on to create hundreds of memorable commercials, racking up awards including an Emmy for his PBS promos.

The Cronenweths, brothers Jeff and Tim, have collaborated for decades as both directors and cinematographers on commercials, music videos, and films. As a duo they are responsible for creating award-winning projects for Gatorade, American Express, Audi, Mini Cooper, Apple, Bud Light, Warner Bros., and many more. In addition to their prolific commercial output, Jeff serves as director David Fincher's longtime DP, and earned Oscar nominations in cinematography for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network.
