Mo-Sys StarTracker technology is gaining ground as a system for tracking Just put some reflective stickers on the ceiling, StarTracker allows to produce from any study both virtual reality and augmented. Global News, BBC, ESPN, FOX, Red Bull TV, Sky Sports.Warner Bros. and Disney are already some of the companies that use this system.

Broadcasters such as the BBC or the Canadian Global News are using this technology that gives a follow-up to high precision in studies that used virtual and augmented reality.

StarTracker, automatic Camera Motion Tracking for studies virtual and augmented reality, is gaining ground. Developed by MO-Sys Engineering, based in London, this system was used during the last NAB in Las Vegas for eight of every ten exhibitors showing virtual environments at the fair as Blackmagic Design / Ultimatte, ChyronHego, Brainstorm, WASP3D, density Zero and Ross Video.

Now, in the worlds most prestigious broadcasters rely on StarTracker for their higher-profile live events. The BBC selected StarTracker, together with Vizrt, for use in the last general election coverage. For its part, Global News, news organization in Canada and a world leader in technology of virtual studies, StarTracker first used in the coverage of elections.

Gerry Belec, director of operations and technology at Global News, stresses that "we use many virtual reality. But this was the first time that we use a Mo-Sys system. For its use is special elections our high-end and cranes chambers already had become outdated. However, with StarTracker we learned that any camera or set can be virtual or augmented with just put some stickers on the ceiling."

Belec adds that they received the delivery just a couple of days before the elections of March 9, Mo-Sys team worked remotely from the United Kingdom to set up and support answering questions as they arose. "We were all very impressed with your level of support", he said.
