The Seriti Films Production telenovela Gomora ended on Friday, 20 October after four successful seasons on Mzansi Magic.

GOMORA' ENDS Gomora viewers, crew and actors took to their social media accounts this weekend to celebrate the award-winning telenovela.

Mzansi Magic wrote: Gomoraaaa! What a triumphant four-season run! Take a moment to celebrate the award-winning telenovela by sharing some of the things/moments you'll miss most.

Scriptwriter and actor Chris Q Radebe revealed on his Instagram account that Gomora was the best show he's ever worked on and this is the saddest day he's ever had.

Gomora actress Thembi Seete, who played Gladys Dlamini said in an Instagram post: Covid hit us. But we carried on. We managed to support our families. When it was hard, the streets were quiet. All we had was each other.

We bonded: Crew, makeup, wardrobe, office caterers, drivers, actors, and Paradise, we became a family. I looked forward to being on set because it was full of energy, laughter, positivity, and fun, and most importantly, we were all hungry to create magic, and we did.

MY BROTHER'S KEEPER' REPLACES TELENOVELA DStv reports that Rythm World's upcoming telenovela, My Brother's Keeper will replace Gomora from Monday, 23 October.

The show will star actors S'dumo Mtshali, Lindani Nkosi, Nelisa Mchunu, and Rosemary Zimu and many more.

The Rhythm World produced show tells the tale of a family drawn into a deadly succession battle of its own making.

We have always offered our viewers the best in local entertainment in a variety of genres, and with the upcoming premiere of My Brother's Keeper, we're pleased to bring another well-written and expertly produced series to our DStv Compact viewers.

Today the channel has confirmed that the new telenovela replacing Gomora will premiere on Monday 23 October
