AFM: Swelter Sells Out with the Exchange

Brian OShea, The Exchange C.E.O., announced today that JCVDs SWELTER has been effectively sold out during AFM13.

A North-American deal is in negotiation, and will be announced shortly.

SWELTER talent includes Jean-Claude Van Damme (Expendables 2, JCVD), Alfred Molina (CHOCOLAT, SPIDERMAN 2), Lennie James (SNATCH, COLOMBIANA), Catalina Sandino Moreno (MARIA FULL OF GRACE, MAGIC MAGIC), Freya Tingley (JERSEY BOYS). Production credits are mostly Don Simpson from Grand Peaks and Nat McCormick, Laura Ivey and Brian OShea from The Exchange as executive producers, Alan Simpson from Grand Peaks and Chris Ranta from The Exchange as producers. The ensemble is directed by Keith Parmer (MOB RULES).

SWELTER is the first completed movie financed by Exchange Peaks Film Capital, a fund created as a full-service specialty film fund financed by Grand Peaks and run by The Exchange.

The Exchange Peaks Film Capital participates in all forms of production financing, including minimum guarantees, gap, super gap, tax credits, foreign sales collateral, bridge lending and equity.

SWELTER is the story of the most notorious robbery in Las Vegas history. Five men, nicknamed the Rat Pack, hit the Luxor Casino for over one hundred million dollars. Four of the men are soon captured, while one barely escapes. Ten years later, after blasting their way out of a maximum-security prison, the four jailed members of the Rat Pack are hot on the trail of their former accomplice and the remaining ten million in stolen cash. The trail leads them to a dying desert town less than a hundred miles from the scene of the crime where they find their former partner is not the man he once was...hes become a law-abiding sheriff without any memory of his past. The sheriff must now remember his violent history in order to protect all that he holds dear.
