UET United Electronic Technology AG announces a strategic cooperation with US based Telco Systems to boost the development of Virtualization Technologies in telecommunication networks

UET United Electronic Technology AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Eschborn, announces that its wholly owned subsidiary albis-elcon (business division SYSTEMS), a leading supplier of Gigabit Switching and Routing Systems for Optical and Mobile Telecommunication Networks has formed a strategic cooperation with Telco Systems, a leading provider of innovative Network Edge solutions for communications infrastructure and service management, to jointly develop network virtualization technologies, systems and solutions that will lead to a breakthrough and boost in the rollout in telecommunication networks. albis-elcon is launching its new uSphir service platform that will incorporate existing and new hardware, software and management components from both parties.

The add-on of Telco Systems' virtualization technology to albis-elcon uSphir solution enables configuration and deployment of third-party virtualized network functions (VNFs) on existing network devices with compute capabilities and new white box devices within minutes. The technology enables telcos and managed service providers using uSphir to quickly deploy new virtualized business services with centralized management and ongoing orchestration based on Intel and Arm based devices and is also available for use in both public and private Cloud environments.

The strategic partnership between albis-elcon and Telco Systems was established as an outcome of extensive joint testing of this integrated solution according to specific market requirements and will benefit customers with the latest cutting-edge Cloud Computing technologies.
