SGO to demonstrate new multi-dimensional workflow tools at IBC 2017

Collaborative solutions include Mistika Ultima with Mistika Co-Pilot, Mistika VR with new Stereo 3D toolset, Mistika Insight and Mistika FX preview.

For the first time in Europe, SGO will showcase its recently launched multi-dimensional workflow concept at IBC 2017 (15-19 September 2017) on stand 6.A11 at the RAI in Amsterdam. SGO will demonstrate the latest phase of products spearheading the company's evolutionary growth that include the latest developments to Mistika Ultima SGO's turnkey solution for finishing, Mistika VR with new Stereo 3D functionality, and recently launched free education software Mistika Insight. There will also be a preview of Mistika FX as part of the multi-dimensional workflow with Mistika VR.

Mistika Ultima

The very latest developments for Mistika Ultima, which continues to solve the most demanding problems and workflow issues, will be shown specifically highlighting UHD/HDR agility, creativity and performance using simultaneous output to SDR and HDR displays from Canon. Combined with Mistika Co-Pilot, recently unveiled as a free of charge assistant to Mistika Ultima, SGO will also demonstrate the highly efficient collaboration which forms part of SGO's natively integrated concept.

Already armed with a pedigree in Stereo 3D, the development team has been working on the highly anticipated Mistika VR with Stereo 3D functionality that will be presented for the first time at this year's IBC. Due for release and available for download during the show, key features include, VR 360 support with VR mode, improved stitching, new shapes and lens distortion effects, as well as view effects for compositing in a VR environment.

SGO has also introduced two new edit functions, one being used to align clips by audio or by timecode and the other to bypass capabilities to mute selected effects. This latest version has been designed and developed to significantly improve workflow efficiency and optimise creative workspaces while working at an incredible pace.

When using Mistika Ultima with the Immersive Reality Toolset, which has combined Stereo 3D and VR features, users also have the ability to stream live video content, over a network including LAN, WiFi, internet or via multiple VR headsets.

VRTUL has been doing stereo for over a month now, almost exclusively in Mistika VR, and it's been a game changer for us. Mistika VR is 3 - 5 times faster than our previous workflow and is extremely user friendly, said Casey Sharp, Mistika VR Betatester.

Mistika Insight

In order to educate the next generation of post-production creatives, SGO has recently launched its education and training focussed solution Mistika Insight'. The software-based tool features the same functionality as the Mistika Ultima hero suite and offers individuals the opportunity to learn about advanced SGO technology through hands-on experience, webinars and online tutorials.
