AXN NOW and SGO received the Best OTT Project' award by TM Broadcast for implementing a pioneering solution where Mistika Workflows is being deployed for the complete media content delivery workflow automation to several different streaming platforms.
Transcoding, media management, final delivery and distribution to OTT media services are still considered a bottleneck for all major media production companies and broadcasters. To confront this issue efficiently, AXN NOW implemented SGO's Mistika Workflows in their content delivery ecosystem with the aim of facilitating media file management and workflow automation for packaging and content delivery to different streaming platforms in Spain and Portugal.

Before its implementation, content delivery was a very complex, tedious, time-consuming and manual task, requiring daily coordination between different AXN NOW departments.
With Mistika Workflows, AXN NOW has achieved seamless integration of different metadata systems, massive resource optimization and complete automation of content packaging and delivery processes to several streaming platforms, including Euskaltel, ZapiTV, AgileTV, Nos, Nowo, Vodafone PT and Movistar.

-- Completely automated delivery with no errors
As a market leader and always at the forefront of the latest technological advances in the M&E Industry, it was a natural decision for us to implement this innovative solution within the AXN NOW environment. Mistika Workflows as a tailor-made service for our partners facilitates the workflow and communication as it allows us to comply with their delivery standards and requirements, shared Eva Maria Cortes, Operations Manager at AXN.
With Mistika Workflows, AXN NOW currently delivers more than 170 content packages per month to seven different platforms (with two additional platform implementations planned for this year) including approximately 1200 videos, 800 subtitle files, 170 metadata archives and almost 10,000 images; All of these deliveries being completely automatic and without errors. Significantly increasing its competitivity in the market, the boost in efficiency and resources optimization is obvious: integration times for new platforms in the AXN NOW's delivery environment have been reduced by half, the productivity of different departments has increased significantly and manual tasks that consumed several working hours are now supervised by only one person on a part-time basis. The rest is taken care of by Mistika Workflows.
The team at AXN NOW can now prioritize customer needs and anticipate all the changes that are taking place in the market. Mistika Workflows allows us to have more qualified personnel, capable of optimizing daily work between the different departments and offering an efficient and quality service to clients, concludes Eva Cortes.

AXN NOW y SGO han triunfado en los premios TM Broadcast como mejor proyecto OTT gracias a la implementaci n de Mistika Workflows, una soluci n pionera automatizando el flujo de trabajo de la entrega de contenidos a diferentes plataformas de streaming.
Transcodificaci n, gesti n de metadata, preparaci n de deliverables, y entrega final a las plataformas de contenidos siguen siendo un cuello de botella importante en la gran mayor a de productoras y broadcasters. Para afrontarlo de manera eficiente, AXN NOW implement Mistika Workflows, una soluci n totalmente innovadora y customizable, que les permiti integrar sistemas de gesti n de archivos diferentes y automatizar totalmente el flujo de trabajo de entrega de contenidos a diferentes plataformas de streaming en Espa a y Portugal.
Un proyecto aplicable a todas las plataformas
Es un proyecto que se aplica a las dem s OTTs y, por lo tanto, tiene una grand sima amplitud. Adem s de ser un desarrollo para una OTT propia, tiene las miras en los dem s miembros del mercado. El uso de Mistika Workflows para solventar una necesidad OTT es muy efectivo , ha se alado el jurado de los premios TM Broadcast.
