Formel-E-Saisonauftakt f r Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler in Hongkong
Start zur Formel-E-Saison 2017/2018 f r das Team Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler: Beim ersten Rennwochenende in Hongkong (2./3. Dezember) stehen gleich zwei Rennen f r Champion Lucas di Grassi und Teamkollege Daniel Abt auf dem Programm.
Das Warten hat ein Ende: Am kommenden Wochenende startet die Formel E in ihre vierte Saison. Schaeffler ist in der innovativen Elektroserie als offizieller Technologiepartner von Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler mit dabei. Vor gut vier Monaten feierte das Team den Gewinn der Fahrerwertung 2016/2017 durch Lucas di Grassi.
Bereits seit der ersten Formel-E-Saison 2014/2015 unterstreicht Schaeffler mit dem Engagement in der Formel E auch auf der Rennstrecke seine Position als Pionier der Elektromobilit t. Seit ffnung des technischen Reglements zur zweiten Saison 2015/2016 arbeiten Spezialisten von Schaeffler an der Entwicklung des Antriebsstrangs f r das Einsatzauto des Teams mit. Auch im neuen Audi e-tron FE04 f r die Saison 2017/2018 steckt Technik made by Schaeffler . Gemeinsam mit Audi entwickelten Ingenieure des Technologiekonzerns das Herzst ck des Fahrzeugs: die Kombination aus Motor und Getriebe. Am Steuer des Formelrenners sitzen wie schon in den drei vergangenen Saisons der aktuelle Champion Lucas di Grassi aus Brasilien und sein deutscher Teamkollege Daniel Abt.
Zehn namhafte Teams, 20 der weltweit besten Fahrer und ein mit 14 Rennen bei elf Veranstaltungen so umfangreicher Rennkalender wie nie zuvor - die anstehende Formel-E-Saison l sst die Herzen der Fans h herschlagen. Mit Rom, Santiago de Chile, S o Paulo und Z rich sind vier Locations erstmals dabei. Los geht es in Hongkong. Auf dem 1,86 Kilometer langen Hong Kong Central Harbourfront Circuit werden ebenso wie in New York und in Montreal zwei Rennen ausgetragen. Der Zeitplan ist straff: Freies Training, Qualifying und Rennen finden am Samstag, den 2. Dezember, und am Sonntag, den 3. Dezember, jeweils innerhalb von nur wenigen Stunden statt. Startschuss zu den beiden Rennen ist jeweils um 15 Uhr Ortszeit.
Die Teams, Fahrer und Fans erwartet in Hongkong aber nicht nur aufgeladene Motorsport-Action, sondern auch das fortschrittlichste Mobilit tssystem der Welt. Die chinesische Sonderverwaltungszone hat sich den Gegebenheiten - viele Menschen auf relativ engem Raum - perfekt angepasst. Die Einwohner bewegen sich zum Beispiel mit der l ngsten Rolltreppe unter freiem Himmel, im hochmodernen U-Bahn-Netz oder per von der Regierung bezuschusstem Elektro-Pkw fort.
