RT is set to deliver comprehensive coverage of this weekend's general election results, bringing the public all the latest breaking updates as they unfold along with unrivalled trusted expert analysis. With live coverage across RT platforms from the moment polls close to the final seat declaration, RT will ensure extensive, up-to-the-minute reporting to keep the nation informed in what's set to be the closest election race in years.

RT will be live from every one of the 32 count centre locations with on-the-ground reporting in English and as Gaeilge. The Ipsos B&A Exit Poll, commissioned by RT , The Irish Times, TG4, Trinity College Dublin, and published simultaneously by RT and The Irish Times at 10pm, is set to be the earliest reflection of voting patterns on Friday night. Ipsos B&A will interview approximately 5,000 people across Ireland immediately after they have voted on Friday. Across RT , the findings will be revealed from 10pm; via the RT News App and RTE.ie, breaking live on The Late Late Show on RT One as Patrick Kielty is joined by a panel of guests in studio, on RT 2's hour-long Election 2024 Exit Poll Special presented by Fran McNulty, on a dedicated RT Radio 1 Late Debate with Colm Mong in. RT One's Election 2024 coverage will begin at 9.00am on Saturday and run continuously until 2am on Sunday morning with live coverage of tallies, individual counts and results from all constituencies. Across the weekend Miriam O'Callaghan, David McCullagh, Katie Hannon, Fran McNulty, Sarah McInerney and ine Lawlor will host studio analysis and discussion, with the latest breaking reports from count centres across the country.

RT One will continue its comprehensive coverage with Election 2024 programming on Sunday from 11.00am with updates on the latest counts and analysis of the national picture and political reaction until early evening, followed by a special results programme again at 9.30pm.

RT One's Election 2024 results coverage will also include the day's three main news bulletins with the One O'Clock, Six One and Nine O'Clock News each day bringing viewers a round-up of the day's election news and the other key stories of the day.

Katie Hannon will present a special Upfront Election 24 programme on Monday night, 2nd December at 9.35pm on RT One with an overview of the impact and latest results along with an election audience discussion and analysis as the final seats in the 34th D il are filled.

On RT Radio 1, beginning on Saturday a special Morning Ireland programme from 8am will bring further Exit Poll findings and breakdowns calculated overnight with ine Lawlor and Gavin Jennings. Election 24 coverage continues from 10am until late into the night, with reporters covering every one of the 43 constituencies.
