NAB 2026: MultiDyne begins shipping C16-AM-12G audio monitor for SDI and IP workflows

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has begun shipping the C16-AM-12G audio monitor, the first product in its Crescendo Series. The unit, which was presented at the NAB Show, is designed for use in SDI and IP workflows within broadcast, sports, and professional audio-visual environments.

Introduced at IBC2025, the C16-AM-12G incorporates support for SDI/IP systems with Dante or AES67 audio networking. Recent adjustments to the Dante networking architecture now permit the C16-AM-12G to support both Dante and AES67 audio rather than requiring a selection between the two, at no additional cost.

The C16-AM-12G was developed by the MultiDyne engineering team following a strategic acquisition. The hardware is designed for studios, trucks, and professional audio-visual integrators working in auditoriums, briefing centres, and flypacks. The device features a 1RU form factor and supports 16-channel audio monitoring. Technical capabilities include on-the-fly channel monitoring and downmixing to left/right channels for listening through built-in speakers, a headphone jack, or variable level output to external active speakers. The unit also supports redundant power supplies and Ross Dashboard integration, features that will be included in future Crescendo Series monitors.
