iconik enables easy search and share for military sports organisation Stockholm, Sweden, 05 February 2019 - Cantemo is happy to announced that its cloud video hub, iconik, is enabling instant global access to military sporting events coverage for the International Military Sports Council (CISM). Cantemo is represented in France and Belgium by IVORY.
Cantemo iconik enables CISM to store its entire archive in cloud storage, instantly access video footage from all previous and current sporting events, and search for clips within that footage to be shared with partners worldwide.
The scope of the project also included digitising videos stored on tape. CISM enlisted the support of TBC Media, a service provider in the Broadcast industry, to migrate and define its metadata model and implement relevant workflows.
iconik has made our search and share tasks much more efficient, making it possible to find specific clips and share these globally within a matter of minutes.
David Vandenplas, Media and Communication Director, CISM Headquartered in Brussels, CISM was founded after the 2nd World War to organise a variety of sporting events for the armed forces of its 138 member countries. Each year, CISM organises over twenty Military World Championships around the globe with approximately 30 different sports, continental and regional competitions such as the Military World Games and most recently Winter Games and World Cadet Games.
The International Military Sports Council is doing critical work bringing armed forces from various nations together in a very positive environment. iconik will enable it to more easily share those sporting events with the world.
Parham Azimi, CEO, Cantemo CISM is in the process of digitising all legacy videos and uploading to cloud storage connected to iconik. It has a full calendar of events coming up in 2019, including the extremely prestigious CISM World Summer Games, being held in China in October.
