Vizrt, NISV and Sky News have a big night at the TVBAwards

Vizrt's video production tools for MAM and live video delivery win big at the TVBAwards.

Vizrt is proud to be part of two major projects that won awards during 2015 TVBAward hosted by TVB Europe. Vizrt's work on NISVs archive project, driven by the Viz One media asset management system, took home the award for Achievement in Asset Management. Sky News and LiveU won the award for their record breaking IP live streams which was displayed on a large UHD videowall driven by Viz Engine during the 2015 UK General Election.

It was great honour to accept the award on behalf of Vizrt's NISV project team, especially against some tough entries from the other nominees, said Rex Jenkins, Vizrt UK regional manager. The NISV project is a massive one and sets the bar for Enterprise MAM very high. I was very proud of what so many from Vizrt have managed to achieve, working as a team.

NISV enterprise MAM workflow The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision (NISV) uses Viz One, Viz One Workflow Engine and a Web Portal (by xailabs.com) to guarantee sustainable preservation of the Dutch audio-visual heritage and to make it accessible for as many users as possible. Viz One provides core services to search, view, select, license and order digital media assets. The archive comprises more than one million hours of television, radio, music, and film and is serving the eight Dutch public broadcasters as the long term archive. Sky News live streamsSky News used a large number of LiveU cellular bonding units paired with Sony PJ-620 camcorders to live stream a record number of locations during the 2015 UK general election. Every feed was displayed on a video wall driven by UHD Viz Engines powered by the latest NVIDIA M6000 cards. Learn more.
