Volfoni hires to explore pro applications for AR...

Thierry Ollivier has joined 3D technology provider Volfoni as vice president of sales with a remit to develop the company's Pro business, which includes all non-cinema professional markets.

Ollivier - a veteran of the projection industry who has held senior positions at projectiondesign and then Barco - joins Volfoni as the company steps up efforts to strengthen its leadership team to capitalise on the growing demand for active and passive 3D systems in the professional market.

The Volfoni Group has R&D, logistics and technical support infrastructure near Nice, France, and has offices in Valencia (Spain), Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
