Cellnex Telecom ha alcanzado un acuerdo para la adquisici n, en una primera fase, de 230 torres de telecomunicaciones a Bouygues Telecom en Francia. La compa a cierra una nueva operaci n con una inversi n de 80 millones de euros que le abre las puertas al mercado franc s, y consolida su perfil de operador independiente de infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones inal mbricas con cobertura europea.
El acuerdo firmado este lunes contempla una segunda fase, en la que ya se trabaja y se prev cerrar en los pr ximos meses, que ampliar a el total de emplazamientos adquiridos hasta las 500.
Tob as Mart nez, consejero delegado de Cellnex, ha destacado la l gica industrial del actual proceso de crecimiento e implantaci n de la compa a en distintos mercados europeos: el acuerdo alcanzado con Bouygues Telecom inicia una colaboraci n a largo plazo que abre la puerta a otros mbitos de inter s como la construcci n de nuevos emplazamientos a demanda (Build to Suit) o el despliegue de nuevas tecnolog as basadas en las small cells para la banda ancha en movilidad. Este acuerdo refuerza nuestro alcance europeo y con ello nuestra capacidad de construir acuerdos y alianzas con clientes que operan en distintos pa ses europeos a los cuales les podremos ofrecer soluciones de conectividad para las telecomunicaciones .
En los ltimos 18 meses Cellnex ha ejecutado un proyecto transformacional que nos ha llevado de una compa a monopa s y monoproducto a ser un operador de referencia en 4 pa ses europeos; a diversificar las l neas de negocio sobre la base de nuestro know how' en la gesti n de infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones; a invertir m s de 1.100 millones de euros en crecimiento; a duplicar las principales magnitudes del grupo y a consolidar un conjunto de activos que nos aportan flujos estables y previsibles a largo plazo. Algo fundamental para una compa a que cuenta con un proyecto industrial y con la ambici n de participar activamente en el despliegue de nuevas infraestructuras para conectividad m vil y en banda ancha .
Por su parte Francisco Reyn s, presidente de Cellnex Telecom, ha afirmado que estamos ante unas operaciones que consolidan el modelo de gestor neutro e independiente de infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones, centrado en las oportunidades de crecimiento en Europa. Este era el objetivo que, en buena medida justificaba la salida a Bolsa de la compa a un a o atr s: ganar en flexibilidad y margen de maniobra para aprovechar las oportunidades que entend amos que el mercado nos ofrec a y que estamos viendo confirmadas con operaciones como la de hoy en Francia, o las m s recientes de CommsCon en Italia y Protelindo en Holanda .
