Megan Firth, the fixer in Broadcast, brings New Vision Studios in Welkom to the Film Industry with a big bang.

A Film Studio in Welkom is on the rise, providing world-class locations for film and television. Through local and national funding support, they will be building film and television studios in the coming year. This hasn't stopped attracting Producers to the venue to come and view the exteriors that have already been used for films. The studios give access to and surrounds railway tracks, an airport strip, abandoned roads and buildings; even a water reservoir - to name a few!

Mediafix is collaborating with these amazing studios to bring these opportunities to local and international Filmmakers and as such, Megan Firth is New Vision Studios Newest Associate Producer.

Industry Development is desperately needed in the regions says Firth, after recently driving a television series in PE. Opportunities exist outside of our big Cities in the form of people and places and Welkom is definitely our next big thing. It is just over 2 hours outside of Gauteng with the most unusual exterior locations available.
