Fujifilm showcases FDR Amulet Innovality Digital Mammography System at Symposium Mammographicum 2014

FDR Amulet Innovality - Digital Mammography System
Fujifilm is a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare, with a range of constantly evolving, clinically proven, products and technologies designed to assist medical professionals perform efficiently and effectively. The company will be exhibiting at this year's Symposium Mammographicum Congress, being held at the Bournemouth International Centre from 29th June-1st July.
Symposium Mammographicum is a biennial meeting featuring a programme delivered by a distinguished faculty from around the world, and provides delegates with the opportunity to discover the latest updates on many aspects of screening and symptomatic breast imaging.
The Fujifilm team will be located on Stands 16-17 and will be showcasing their new FDR Amulet Innovality Digital Mammography System, the new addition to the Amulet series which offers advanced 3D mammography, tomosynthesis and biopsy applications.
Commenting on their attendance, Ben Cole, Marketing Manager for Fujifilm said: "We are excited to be showcasing our new addition to the Amulet series. Amulet Innovality is our most advanced breast imaging system to date. In addition to its 3D capabilities, it has a unique new hexagonal pixel detector for fast, low dose, high resolution examinations, and also incorporates Intelligent AEC, which uses low-dose preshot images to define the mammary gland density (breast type) when selecting the x-ray energy and level of dose required."
He continued: "The FDR Amulet Innovality has been designed with the patient in mind. Using Amulet Harmony the system can be attuned to every patients need. It has a newly developed Fit Sweet flexible Paddle to better fit the shape of the breast, mood lighting to ease patient anxiety, and a choice of five different decorative labels to provide an adaptable room environment. We are all looking forward to the feedback we receive at Symposium Mammographicum this year regarding our latest leading-edge system."
