It's not often that a U.S-based broadcaster gets to collaborate with another broadcast entity under the same corporate umbrella, but, for a massive global event like the 2024 Summer Olympics, there's no better time for Warner Bros. Discovery to put its transatlantic partnership to use. The perfect microcosm of this is the work being by Warner Bros. Discovery VP, Tech Operations, Chris Brown. Normally a major player for WBD's domestic efforts on properties like the NBA on TNT, NHL on TNT, MLB on TBS, and NCAA Men's Final Four and March Madness, the industry veteran is assisting in Eurosport's extensive studio programming from a rooftop location in Paris.

In this interview, Brown explains how he ended up being assigned a role at the Games, how the relationship has been with WBD Europe SVP, Content, Production and Business Operations, Scott Young and his onsite team, the productions that are leveraging the techno jib that was brought over from the U.S., and why these Olympics are a great example of the overall synergy between the company's staff on both sides of the Atlantic.
