Solo Parking from Marquis Broadcast is a powerful storage management application for standalone Avid workstations. It enables new collaborative workflows for freelancers, home-workers and external agencies, wherever they choose to work. Editors can optimise storage, backup to external storage or cloud, plus archive complete projects with all media and files.
Solo Parking is free when combined with 32TB of Marquis Broadcasts world class Project Parking, analytics-based storage management system. Like Project Parking, Solo Parking create fully-interoperable archive sets that are actively versionable in inexpensive backup or cloud storage.

Collaborate with editors on location via the cloud
Solo Parking features Delta Parking versioning, enabling Avid projects held in offline storage to be both version-able and distributable between local and remote Media Composer editors, with only the changes written back. This delivers huge network transfer and storage efficiencies, making remote production practical even at the highest resolutions. Facilities can also load a Solo Parking licence onto a dongle for an external editor, making Avid project collaboration across locations simple.
Secure remote storage connectivity with Fotonflite
Both Project Parking and Solo Parking contain a common library of conventional and cloud storage connections. However, if the storage is physically remote, a new low-cost optional plug-in service called Fotonflite can be added to the workflow. Unlike other systems, Fotonflite provides a secure, point-to-point, encrypted, always in-flight connection across the internet. The advanced analytics in Project and Solo Parking mean that after the first transfer, only the project changes are sent, ensuring transfers are fast and secure. This means you can indeed work with your favourite editor in Acapulco, or Hollywood, Mumbai or Dubai...
