Volicon Promotes Ashley Baker Plourde to Serve as Director of Client Services

Promotion Signals Plourde's Commitment to Improved Support and Seamless Deployments for Customers BURLINGTON, Mass. - Dec. 17, 2014 - Volicon today announced that Ashley Baker Plourde has been promoted to the role of director of client services. In this new position, Plourde will oversee both the company's professional services department, which she launched in 2013, as well as the U.S. support team.

The experience I have gained in various positions - marketing, inside sales, account management for key accounts, and head of professional services - here at Volicon provides a great foundation for this new role, said Plourde. I am very excited about this opportunity to further enhance the exceptional services and solutions we offer to the Volicon customer base.

Plourde joined Volicon in 2007 and has risen rapidly through key roles, both internal and customer-facing. As a sales manager, she managed all accounts within New England, New York, and New Jersey, including key accounts with major U.S. broadcast networks. More recently, she launched the company's professional services department, with responsibility for managing engineering and project management teams to complete large deployments, implement custom feature sets, perform complex upgrades, and provide training to the Volicon customer base.

Plourde will continue to be based at Volicon's headquarters in Burlington, now reporting to Gary Learner.
