Quer amos compartir una tendencia reciente de la que estamos siendo testigos. Broadcasters de todo el mundo, cada vez m s archivan sus contenidos digitales en plataformas locales o en nubes privadas de almacenamiento. Hay tres buenas razones para hacerlo:
1. Necesidad de acceder a todos sus archivos digitales para reutilizar el antiguo contenido para nuevas audiencias. Los broadcasters tradicionales est n situados sobre una mina de oro de contenido pregrabado, listo para transmitir. Netflix y compa a tienen que empezar de cero en lo que respecta a la creaci n de contenidos, mientras que los medios de comunicaci n tradicionales de todo el mundo tienen la ventaja de contar con flujos de ingresos no explotados que, hasta hoy, han sido dif ciles de monetizar. Una cadena de televisi n de Reino Unido comparti recientemente con nosotros informaci n de que las viejas telenovelas de Reino Unido, disponibles a partir del primer episodio, bajo demanda, est n resultando incre blemente populares entre las nuevas audiencias m s j venes. Ahora es el momento de tratar estos archivos digitales con el respeto que se merecen. Ponerlos a la disposici n de sus equipos creativos, generar ingresos y al mismo tiempo traer eficiencia operativa a la organizaci n.
