Vote for Soak & win a trip to Winter Music Festival Eurosonic

On 13 January 2016 the Dutch city of Groningen plays host to the annual European Boarder Breakers Awards, a televised event hosted by Jools Holland that celebrates Europe's best new music. The date also marks the beginning of the Eurosonic festival in the beautiful university city of Groningen.

This year, Derry-born singer-songwriter Soak is Ireland's EBBA Public Choice Award nominee and 2fm is sending Westmeath band The Academic to represent the station at Eurosonic.

In addition to performances from Soak and The Academic, attendees at the EBBAs and Eurosonic will get to see performances in intimate venues across the city by Europe's rising musical stars including German hit-maker Robin Schultz, the UK's Mercury Prize-nominated C Duncan, Norway's Aurora (singer of Half the World Away' currently featuring in the John Lewis Christmas ad), the UK's Years & Years, Belgium's Oscar & The Wolf, UK electronic duo Honne, Latvia's Carnival Youth, Ireland's Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Switzerland's Bastian Baker and Ireland's Otherkin, to name but a few.
