Watch The 95th OSCARS live on Astro on 13 March
Live at 8am with an encore at 9pm on SHOWCASE MOVIES (Ch 413)
On 13 March 2023, Astro customers can watch the 95th OSCARS live at 6.30am for the red carpet and at 8am for the awards show via SHOWCASE MOVIES (Ch 413) and Astro GO. Customers can also catch the encore on the same day, at 7.30pm and 9pm for the red carpet and the awards show respectively via SHOWCASE MOVIES (Ch 413) or on Astro GO.
The 95th OSCARS, one of the most prestigious awards for film will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, a comedian and TV host, and will celebrate the best cinematic scenes of 2022 from all around the globe, live from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Fans can watch the winners in each category including Best Actor and Actress, Best Picture, Best International Feature Film, Best Animated Feature, Best Original Song, Live Action Short Film, Best Director, Best Documentary Feature, Best Visual Effects, Best Cinematography and more. Malaysians can also cheer on fellow Malaysian actress, Tan Sri Datuk Michelle Yeoh, nominated for Best Actress for her role in the film, Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Additionally, customers can also immerse themselves in the awards season by streaming the 95th OSCARS nominee hit films including:
Top Gun: Maverick (6 nominations), Everything Everywhere All At Once (11 nominations), Elvis (8 nominations), The Batman (3 nominations) via On Demand and Astro GO.
All Quiet on The Western Front (9 nominations), Blonde (1 nomination), RRR (1 nomination), The Martha Mitchell Effect (1 nomination), The Elephant Whisperers (1 nomination) available on Netflix via the Ultra Box.
Avatar: The Way of Water (4 nominations), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (5 nominations), Turning Red (1 nomination), The Banshees of Inisherin (9 nominations) on Disney+ Hotstar via the Ultra Box.
