GoPro Congratulates Newest Team Member Ken Roczen on his Anaheim I Victory

GoPro Also Goes 1-2 on the West Coast Lites Podium

SAN MATEO, CA (Jan. 6, 2014) - GoPro, maker of the world's most versatile camera and enabler of the most engaging and immersive user-generated content, is proud announce the addition of Red Bull KTM's Ken Roczen to the GoPro team, and congratulate him on his first 450 win at Anaheim I Supercross. The German phenom has taken the motocross world by storm since formally introducing himself to the racing world in 2009 by becoming the youngest racer to ever win an FIM Motocross GP race. Since then, he has added an FIM MX2 World Championship and an AMA 250 West Lites Championship to his resume. For 2014, Roczen enters his rookie season in the premier 450 class in both Supercross and Pro Motocross, and has already added to his impressive resume.

All year long, Roczen will be equipping his helmet with GoPro HERO3+ cameras and will utilize GoPro equipment as a technical tool in testing, practice, and training review.

Rockstar KTMs Jason Anderson and Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Hondas Cole Seely also put GoPro on top of the box with their 1-2 finishes in the first round of the 2014 West Coast Lites Championship Series. An incredible final-turn pass by Anderson allowed him to sneak over the finish line before Seely, who led most of the race and looked as if hed be taking the checkers. Both racers laid the groundwork as championship contenders with their performances inside Angel Stadium, and we look froward to watching them race for the title.

The 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series makes its next stop in Phoenix, where Ken Roczen, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto, Justin Barcia, Rockstar KTM, and Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda will be looking to raise their GoPro-equipped helmets on top of the podium on Saturday night.
