New Chinese-Language Series Forget You Not': A Healing Story Of Impermanence and Lost Time

Exploring the heartfelt themes of fleeting time, enduring memories, and the complexities of human relationships, the new Chinese-language series Forget You Not is set to debut exclusively on Netflix. Written and directed by Taiwanese singer-actress Rene Liu (Us and Them), the series stars award-winning actress Hsieh Ying-xuan (Wave Makers) and veteran actor Chin Han (He Never Gives Up), who returns to Taiwanese drama after many years. The accomplished Wallace Huo from Light the Night will also make a special appearance in the healing series.

Produced by Filmagic Pictures Co., Forget You Not is a heartwarming journey that explores the impermanent nature of life and lost time, and a story of friendship and kinship. Director Rene Liu shares, "This series mirrors life, depicting experiences we face every day but choose not to confront. I hope audiences will find solace in this series as they navigate the crossroads in their lives.

Forget You Not revolves around Cheng Le-le (Hsieh Ying-xuan), a married woman who balances her job as a stand-up comedian and part-time convenience store employee. Despite her mundane life, Le-le is full of hopes and dreams for her future, but is met with a series of challenges. In addition to facing marital difficulties with her husband Zhang Kai (Wallace Huo), Le-le also faces hardships with her father (Chin Han), spurring her to embark on a courageous journey that redefines her relationship with her kin, lover and friends.

On her directorial debut in a series, Liu comments, I am thrilled to be working with a talented team of cast and crew to tell a story that feels like home', set in many beautiful and nostalgic places, which we hope the audience can relate to.

Golden Bell and Golden Horse winner Hsieh Ying-xuan also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with director Liu, describing it as a rare and precious experience.
