Schneider Electric launches revolutionary computer telephony integration system

Schneider Electric is proud to announce the launch of its brand new Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) customer care system today.

The new system will make it even easier for Schneider Electric's customers to contact the company and be directed to their required department without delay. Not only is there now a single customer care number to dial, but the new system incorporates telephone recognition, meaning customers can be transferred to the correct department with ease. Customers will also experience a more streamlined dialling service, as the number of options available has been simplified.

The change follows extensive customer research carried out by Schneider Electric to determine how the service could be improved and simplified for them. Now customers will be able to call Schneider Electric without the need to validate their identity on every call. The telephone recognition system will automatically pull a customer's account records upon receipt of their call, meaning the customer care team will have access to all key information on that customer instantly, and can easily resolve the customer enquiry.

Martin Berelowitz, programme manager at Schneider Electric comments: We've listened to our customers and made some changes which means we can now provide them with an even better customer support experience. We wanted to be able to offer them a truly personalised and more intimate service which we could tailor to suit each individual customer. What's more it's so easy to use. Gone are the multiple numbers which previously existed for various departments; now all enquiries for any area of the business - whether it's technical support, sales, post-sales support or other - can be accessed via a single number.
