G tersloh - As part of a public tender for the operation and further development of the aok.de website, the AOK-Bundesverband has chosen Arvato Systems. By winning the contract, the IT company is consolidating its position as a strategic digitization partner for the healthcare sector.

Arvato Systems assumes the role of a digital agency for the operation and further development of the website. The Arvato Systems team is relying on a modern headless web architecture and the TYPO3 content management system as well as other specialized technologies. Klaus Fetzer, Managing Director for the healthcare and public sector at Arvato Systems, is looking forward to the collaboration: We are delighted that we were chosen for this forward-looking project. We are thus setting another example in the healthcare market and are looking forward to supporting twelve new customers with their digital strategy.

Over the next four years, the Arvato Systems team, consisting of front- and back-end developers, a dedicated service management team and experts in website operation, will work together with the AOKs specialist departments on an equal footing. This will enable the AOK community to further develop its widest-reaching portal in the coming years with innovative IT solutions in a customer-oriented manner. Arvato Systems already received valuable support from its partner HDNET during the tendering process. HDNET, a specialist for digital portals, brings extensive TYPO3 know-how to the table, which will be a great advantage in the joint implementation of this complex project.

The agreement and the intensive collaboration that will follow will make the entire AOK organization a strategic anchor customer for Arvato Systems and its healthcare and customer experience experts.

Arvato Systems has further strengthened its role as a competent IT partner for the healthcare sector by winning the contract in a public procurement procedure. The IT service provider has been supporting healthcare authorities, service providers, health insurers and pharmaceutical companies in their digital transformation for several years now.
