PAUL FEIG SIGNS FIRST-LOOK DEAL WITH THE WARNER BROS. TELEVISION GROUP

Emmy -nominated writer/producer/director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Freaks and Geeks) and his producing partner Laura Fischer have signed a first-look television deal with Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG). This marks Feig's first pact with the Studio.
Under the new agreement, Feig will develop and create original programming in all genres - live-action scripted, unscripted, animation - to be produced through his Feigco Entertainment production company for all platforms, including, potentially, Warner Bros. Discovery's HBO and Max, external streaming services, and the broadcast networks.
Per company policy, terms were not disclosed. WBTVG can confirm it's a multi-year deal.

In television, Feig is perhaps best known as the celebrated creator of Freaks and Geeks, one of the most critically acclaimed and beloved television series of the past 25 years. He wrote six of the show's 18 episodes and was nominated for two Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series category. He was a co-executive producer and directed more than a dozen episodes of the Emmy-winning comedy The Office, winning a Directors Guild Award, earning an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, and sharing in an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series. He also executive produced the musical comedy-drama series Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist and received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Television Movie for the Zoey's Extraordinary Christmas special.
His additional television credits include directing multiple episodes of Arrested Development, Nurse Jackie, Weeds, and Welcome to Flatch, on which he also wrote and executive produced. Feig also executive produced Love Life and Minx.
A highly successful and in-demand filmmaker, Feig recently directed and produced Another Simple Favor, the sequel to the acclaimed 2018 thriller A Simple Favor. Starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, the new picture had its world premiere at the 2025 South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas, and will debut May 1 on Amazon's Prime Video. Feig also directed and produced The Housemaid, a film based on the best-selling novel by Freida McFadden. Lionsgate will release the movie, which stars Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, and Brandon Sklenar, only in theaters on Christmas Day 2025.
Feig's additional film directing credits include the global hit comedies Bridesmaids, The Heat, Ghostbusters, and Spy, among others. He also produced The Peanuts Movie.
Feig is represented by CAA and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
