Independent filmmaker, Derran Rootring,extensively test the capabilities of the new system. Rootring has extensive knowledge of working with a variety of different camera supports and described the Vision blue3 as a don't think, just shoot tripod head, praising its award winning Perfect Balance technology that provides a unique and infinitely adjustable counterbalance system.

I simply dialled in the amount of drag I needed, and as this is adjustable, it enabled me to maintain precise control over the camera.

Even if I found myself on a shoot with unpredictable action, I could rely on the LF drag technology to keep tracking the subject with silky smooth movement and precise framing.

The new Vision blue3 extends the highly successful Vision blue range that has been praised by industry professionals throughout the broadcasting world. The three pan and tilt heads that make up the Vision blue range include the original Vision blue, the recently launched Vision blue5, and the brand new Vision blue3.

The design of the Vision blue3 has the same performance capabilities and functions as the original Vision blue, with the addition of a stronger counterbalance spring to provide users with exact counterbalance regardless of the type of camera and accessories within the payload range.

Rootring has also used the new accessory for the Vision blue range, the Vision bluebridge, which works by shifting the payload range down and gives users a cost effective option by extending the payload capabilities of their chosen Vision blue system.
