At the end, the technology is not always the most critical path for going OTT

OTT market trends Depending the customer history, a telco, a broadcaster, a content owner or a pay TV won't have the same strategy and priority for going OTT.

What they might do is try all the different business models always thinking of how to maximize the ARPU. They need to cut the costs and to monetize as far as they can their catalogue, always working on the user experience.

The main complexity comes from the rights and the way they want to schedule. At the end, the technology is not always the most critical path, it's really how they handle the rights. They need some specific components to do that.

What we see today in the OTT market is that the operators really need to assemble several vendors to integrate. This is where they need some companies to do that for them to go much faster on the market.

That is the way we try to answer to them: we try to bring them a complete end-to-end solution. This solution can also be modular so that they can follow easily the market trends. If they need to change something, it goes much faster.

To what extent is the business model for OTT on-demand services becoming more complex ? How are operators prioritizing different types of offering such as subscription, transaction, advertising-based, download to own etc.?
