Globo brings drama Parts of Me, by the auor of the Life We Lead, to Natpe

A lonely man, who has always remained free from any attachments, has his life turned when he finds out that has children conceived after a semen donation. With this plot, telenovela Parts of Me,' which Globo presents at the 2016 Natpe, promises to stir emotions around the world. Shot in stunning locations, such as the Argentinian Patagonia and Fernando de Noronha, in northeastern Brazil, Parts of Me' is a real lesson about love and the bonds that bring people together.

A master in creating involving plots, L cia Manzo, author of worldwide hit The Life We Lead,' once again reached into the hearts of the Brazilian audience. With dialogue that manages to be colloquial and full of feeling at the same time, Parts of Me' obtained a 41% share on Access Prime Time in Brazil, reaching almost 20 million viewers (source: Ibope). The telenovela has already aired on Globo's pay-TV channel in Portugal, and a cast of stars such as Regina Duarte ( The Illusionist'), D bora Bloch ( Brazil Avenue'), Isabelle Drummond ( The Enchanted Tale'), and Jayme Matarazzo ( The Enchanted Tale') was present at its premiere in the European country.

In the plot of Parts of Me,' Miguel (Domingos Montagner, Precious Pearl') is a lonely man with an indecipherable personality, manly and vulnerable, present and inaccessible at the same time: an irresistible combination for women. But only one of them really wins his heart: journalist Ligia (Debora Bloch). Afraid to make a more serious commitment, he decides to escape in a risky expedition to Antarctica. When he suffers an accident during the trip, he is presumed dead.

After months recovering, Miguel returns to Brazil and is astonished to find out that he has a baby with the woman he loves, plus six other kids conceived after a semen donation he had made years before. He then begins a struggle to gain the affection and respect of his children, while also trying to win back his true love.

In addition to the touching plot, the telenovela promises to enthrall audiences all over the world with astonishing views of the El Calafate, in the Argentinian Patagonia. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and crystal clear waters, the region was the backdrop for the first shoots of Parts of Me.' The first ten days of shooting took place entirely inside a boat, amidst the icebergs of Argentino Lake. The scenes of Miguel's trip to Antarctica were shot there. On the other days, the main locations were the famous Perito Moreno Glacier, the world's largest glacier in horizontal extension, and the Punta Bandera port. The cold, inhospitable conditions of Patagonia mirror the protagonist's search for isolation.

The cast of Parts of Me' also feature actors Malu Galli ( The Life We Lead'), Angelo Antonio ( Precious Pearl'), and Argentinian actor Michel Noher ( The Party'), among others.

Natpe 2016

Globo will be located in the Tr sor Tower, suite 2601, during Natpe, which will be held from January 19th until 22st. The Brazilian company that produce, distribute and exhibit multigenre content around the world to many platforms, will offer its traditional Screening Breakfast on the morning of the 19th (from 8:00 to 10:00 AM, in the Versailles Tower, at the Glimmer Ballroom), where it will launch its new catalog of unreleased titles.
