A SaaS portfolio built to work together, helping operators grow audiences, monetise smarter and run leaner, on their own terms
At IBC 2026 (stand 1.B49) Synamedia is introducing a new version of itself a strategic technology partner helping operators solve, and future-proof, the business of video.
Following the launch of Synamedia's next chapter in July 2026, the UK-headquartered company has refocused its positioning around enabling media organisations to retain and grow audiences, open new revenue streams, and reduce complexity and operational cost. It comes at a moment when the industry needs to shift its focus from technology transitions to business outcomes. Synmedia delivers those outcomes through streaming and advertising SaaS solutions powered by cloud and AI technology. Customers can adopt them individually, combine them as needed, or deploy them across their full video service.
Backed by decades of engineering experience in mission-critical, large scale video systems, Synamedias new model gives operators the confidence to modernise on their own terms, at scale - keeping what already works while adding new capabilities as their business evolves.
Dr Tzvi Gerstl, CEO, Synamedia says, Our next chapter is about focusing Synamedia's technology, portfolio and expertise around business outcomes. We are building on the strengths that have always defined Synamedia, while bringing our capabilities together in a much more integrated way to help customers innovate, simplify and improve the economics of their video business.
We are delighted that many customers have selected Synamedia this year, including BFBS, Partner Communications and Mileto, with several choosing multiple solutions from across our portfolio. For me, that is strong validation of the direction we are taking and of the value we can create when our technologies and capabilities work together around the customer's business outcomes.
See the new Synamedia in action at IBC
At IBC, Synamedia will be showcasing new features focused on AI-powered hyper-personalisation and operational efficiency across its solutions.
Synamedia Senza a live demo showing Synamedia Ignite running on a deployed beIN satellite STB. Also being revealed are its new advanced UI features, such as 3D graphics, multiview, social feeds running alongside existing device capabilities, such as native apps and broadcast TV from the tuner. Senza offers two cost-efficient routes for operators to modernise their entire estate, old devices and new, without a truck roll or waiting for a device refresh cycle.
Synamedia Go new hyper-personalisation unlocked through GO Proximity and GO Shorts. Proximity detects when someone walks into the room and builds a personalised homescreen on the fly, paired with conversational AI that reduces the need for traditional search. Content increasingly finds the viewer, cutting friction between switching on and watching and helping operators keep audiences engaged for longer, auto formatted for vertical viewing.
Synamedia Iris deployed at leading broadcasters and operators across the globe, Iris continues to shape the next generation of TV Advertising. New formats, contextual triggers and integration with the wider Synamedia portfolio, shown for the first time at IBC with Senza and Go, supports a continued focus on unlocking maximum value from every viewing session, while driving improved efficiency in advertising operations.
Synamedia Gravity - Synamedia Gravity is now available globally and expanded to manage video devices across the whole home network, not just broadband. Its intelligent, AI-powered layer helps operators identify underlying operational issues that are often difficult to detect, understand their root cause, and resolve them before they become costly problems. This gives operators broader visibility across the connected home and a more proactive way to manage service quality with a lower cost to serve.
Synamedia will also be showcasing its recently launched, award-winning Synamedia ContentArmor solution that protects the revenue already flowing through live broadcast workflows, with forensic watermarking that disrupts piracy.
Synamedias Partner Hub, demonstrating the value of wider collaboration within the vendor ecosystem, will feature FX Digital, who designed the UX for GO Shorts, and Spicy Mango, showing its Gameday sports and fan engagement platform, the content of which is used in its Synamedia Go demo on stand.
